SCHOLARSHIPS OFFER RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
IN ENGLAND
Are you an Emory
University Faculty or Post-doctoral Fellow? Would you
like to spend 3 to 6 months of the 2009-2010 academic year in the west of
England participating in cutting-edge scientific
research? Emory University and
the University of Bath are now accepting applications for the Raymond F. Schinazi International Exchange Program (SIEP), which focuses on
expanding scientific research opportunities for courageous scientists by
providing them with mentoring personnel, research facilities and training not
readily available to them, through an international faculty and post-doctoral
exchange program. Funds will be
provided to the successful applicant for travel, lodging and research.
SIEP provides research
support within the following areas of scientific excellence:
•
Drug
discovery;
•
Vaccine
development;
•
High
throughput screening;
•
Molecular
modeling;
•
Technology
transfer; and
•
Genomics
and Proteomics.
The application deadline is Monday,
June 22nd, 2009, for the 2009-2010 academic cycle. Applicants must be
full-time or part-time (at least 50%) Emory University faculty or post-doctoral
fellows, with their role focused on scientific research. Emory applicants
should identify a scientist at Bath University with whom they would like to do
