- SPSS (for analyzing data)
- Microsoft Office (for using spreadsheets via Excel and databases via Access)
- Symantec Antivirus (for protecting your system and data)
- Microsoft Windows XP (if you've not already upgraded AND your system will support the new operating system)

www.pubmed.gov Added September 20, 2007 PubMed is a great resource for your literature searches. Ask discussed in the lecture, the MESH functionality is a big plus that allows you to fine tune your searches.
