Our faculty teach and train fellows, residents and medical students from Emory University School of Medicine and Morehouse School of Medicine as well as Emory nurse practitioner students and students from around the country. EPG physicians are active in teaching continuing medical education courses at the national, regional and local level. Recently, our physicians started a CME course in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Most physicians are PALS instructors and some instruct ATLS. We are actively looking for new and innovative ways of teaching and training the next generation of physicians. Some members of our division help to produce educational videos for community education, using real patients and scenarios. We have also started developing web streamed lectures for our trainees. We have a current and updated online handbook for the residents and we use simulators for code/ resuscitation training.
