Our Clinical Research Team
 | W. Gerald Teague, MD Dr. Teague is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, trained in pediatrics at
the University of Virginia, and did his pulmonary training at the Cardiovascular Research
Institute at the University of California, San Francisco. He is board certified in pediatric
pulmonary medicine and his special interests are is severe asthma, lung disease from
gastroesophageal reflux, and the effects of air pollution on lung function in children.
Dr. Teague is also a leader in a community advocacy program known as Not One More Life (NOML)
which conducts asthma service programs in community churches around metropolitan Atlanta. |  | Anne Fitzpatrick, C-PNP, PhD Anne Fitzpatrick received a PhD at Ohio State University, is an Instructor in the
Department of Pediatrics, and a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. Her special interests
are asthma, chronic pulmonary aspiration, and respiratory infection. She does laboratory
studies of macrophage function in asthma, and hopes to identify basic biological mechanisms for
asthma in children. (More) |  | Roby Greenwald, PhD Roby Greenwald received a PhD at Georgia Institute of Technology, is a post-doctoral
Investigator in the Department of Pediatrics, and is an expert in atmospheric science. His interests
are designing safe exposure systems to study the effects of air pollution in children, and the
identification of novel biomarkers in exhaled breath for the detection of respiratory disease.
He does controlled air pollution exposure experiments, and bench analysis of exhaled breath with ion chromatography. |  | Eric Hunter, BS Eric Hunter is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator with broad experience in conducting
clinical trials. He received his BS degree from Berry College and has been working with Dr. Teague
since 2003. Eric coordinates study recruitment and performs a range of procedures for ongoing asthma

with a strong clinical background. Denise coordinates study recruitment, patient visits, and does
