Emory Department of Pediatrics is committed to providing its users with an Internet experience that
respects and protects their personal privacy choices and concerns.
There are several locations on our Web site where you can input information about yourself. Below you
will find a description of those locations and the way Emory uses the information you supply to us.
This site contains links to other sites. Emory is not responsible for the privacy practices or the

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. This site is not designed or intended to
attract children under the age of 13. In the event that we discover that personally identifiable
information has been collected from a child under 13, we will delete that information.
Personal Information Collected
Our site uses an order form for customers to donate funds to Emory. We collect a visitor's contact
information (such as an e-mail address) and financial information (such as an account or credit card
numbers). This information is used to fulfill orders and process payments or donations.
The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary. For
example, we might have a question about the processing of an order. If a user so requests, we may use
the contact information to send the user additional information about Emory.
Share Your Story
This location on our Web site permits you to share information about a patient experience with Emory.
You are asked to provide your name, address, telephone number and e-mail. Emory employees will have
access to any information you provide on this form. In addition, Emory may disclose any information you
provide on the form to persons identified in the section of this Privacy Statement entitled "Disclosure
of Information Collected by Emory."
Traffic Data Collected
We track general traffic on our Web site, including site usage and origination of users. This sort of
information is only collected on an aggregate basis and does not personally identify you. This anonymous
information helps to characterize Emory users in order to improve our services.
Anonymous information also includes the domain names and/or IP addresses of browsers that visit our
site. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site.
