Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is a not-for-profit organization
formed in 1998 when Egleston Children's Health Care System and Scottish Rite
Children's Medical Center joined to form a unified healthcare system.
Children's was recently recognized as one of the top 10 children's
hospitals in the country by Child magazine. In addition, Child magazine
lists Children's in the top five for its oncology, cardiac, neonatal, and
orthopedic programs. Residents in the Emory program work primarily on the
Egleston and Hughes Spalding campuses. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleson is a 235 bed
hospital with approximately 9200 admissions per year. |
|
| Over the course of 36 months of training, residents gain approximately 55 percent of their
experience on the Grady/Hughes Spalding campus and 45 percent at Children's Healthcare of
Atlanta at Egleston. |
